The Epson L6190 Resetter Adjustment Program is a software tool developed by Epson to help users maintain their printers. The program is designed to reset the printer's internal counters, which track the amount of ink waste generated during printing. When the ink pads become saturated, the printer will stop functioning until the pads are replaced. The Resetter Adjustment Program allows users to reset the counters, effectively "resetting" the printer's ink pad maintenance cycle.

Connect the USB cable from your PC to the printer. The PC may beep to recognize new hardware. If Windows asks to install a driver, cancel it.

The tells the printer: "The waste pad has been replaced (or is empty), and the counter is now zero."

Epson is aware of the L6190 Resetter. In fact, they have been fighting this battle for two decades, since the days of the Stylus Photo series.

Open the back panel of the L6190. Locate the drain tube from the pump. Cut the tube and route it into an external bottle. This is a permanent solution. After installing an external tank, you can run the Adjustment Program forever without fear.
