The story follows Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan), who, after failing to win an international gold medal for India, seeks to fulfill his dream through his future son. Upon having four daughters, he realizes their potential after they beat up local boys in a brawl, leading him to rigorously train them in the male-dominated sport of wrestling.
